Installation instructions
=========================
1.  Product affected:  IBM SPSS Modeler 18.6.x thick client
    Platforms affected:	Windows

2. Affected Files:
   The attached interim fix .zip file contains the following files:
	startup.jar
	Readme.txt (this file)

4. This interim fix can be applied to IBM SPSS Modeler 18.6.x thick client.

5. Steps to apply the interim fix in Windows: 

    a. Close IBM SPSS Modeler 18.6.x thick client if it is opened.    
    b. Extract the .zip file under "Downloads" directory. You should now have a directory by the name: <user-home>/Downloads/18.6.0.0-S18MODELER-WIN64-*.
    c. Navigate to <Modeler-ClientInstallationDirectory>\18.6\lib      
    d. Locate the following file and back it up to a separate folder. For example, your Desktop.
	--> startup.jar

    e. Copy the following interim fix files from <user-home>/Downloads/18.6.0.0-S18MODELER-WIN64-* to "lib" directory located in step c.
	--> startup.jar

    f. Launch the application 'IBM SPSS Modeler 18.6'. 


6. Contact IBM Support if you are unable to use IBM SPSS Modeler 18.6.
